Iowa Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health is a 501c3 statewide advocacy organization working independently and collaboratively with our local community affiliates and the Federal level organization towards a seamless system of care. We believe that families are "Multi-Stressed" -not dysfunctional... The focus of all services and supports should be on the family and child's strengths, not the flaws...planning of services should be a joint effort of family and professionals...parents know their children best! |
